Creating Learning Materials
There are many online tools that teachers and educators can choose to create and enhancing their teaching materials. Technology is here to stay and teachers need to take advantage of the opportunities it brings along. In this post, I have explored a few tools which I will like to share with you. I made an interactive image with ThinkLink, two lesson materials with Office Mix and H5P. Ride with me☺.

With ThingLink, stories can be told by adding notes multimedia contents including pictures, videos and other multimedia. It is fairly easy to use and is suitable for many purposes.  Counting in Twi with Office Mix
Office Mix is an add-in to Microsoft PowerPoint. It has many functions for improving and adding more content to PowerPoint. With Office Mix, audio, video, and screen recording can be made within PowerPoint. Quizzes and and Surveys can be added to presentations with the possibility for analyzing audience interaction. Body Parts in Twi with H5P

In addition to the lesson on counting in Twi, a flashcard on body parts was created with H5P. Like ThingLink, H5P allows the creation of interactive multimedia content. Read more on H5P.





Balancing with PhET simulations.
With PhET, learning science and maths can be interactive. Learning is support through visual and interactive simulations

What is SRL? Description on Solo Task I attended the lecture on What is SRL?  by Sanna Järvelä. I read the three articles and attempted to summarize the articles to help me understand what SRL is all about. I am a novice in the field of Education and I seek to knowledgeable in this field so  I took it upon myself to read and summaries the articles in order to understand. I know is going to take a considerable amount of time but I am willing to put in the effort because I believe its worth it.
